The BS-500 OEM Application Syringe Pump is specifically engineered for automation and OEM integration, providing precise syringe-based fluid delivery in applications where computer control is required. Designed without a built-in user interface, the pump operates directly from a computer and can be easily integrated into automated systems thanks to its compact open-chassis design. Measuring 9.5" L x 4.25" W x 4.125" H (23.5 x 10.8 x 10.5 cm), the BS-500 mounts directly into equipment and operates from a standard 12V DC power source.
The pump accommodates a single syringe up to 60 cc and delivers highly accurate infusion and withdrawal capabilities with a dispensing accuracy of ±1%. Flow rates range from as low as 0.73 µL/hr with a 1 cc syringe to as high as 2100 mL/hr with a 60 cc syringe, making it suitable for both microfluidic and high-volume dispensing applications. Advanced programming features inherited from the BS-8000 family allow users to set fixed pumping rates and dispensing volumes or create complex protocols consisting of up to 41 programmable phases. These phases can include rate changes, volume dispensing, timed pauses, external signal responses, and audible alerts.
The BS-500 can be networked with and controlled alongside up to 100 pumps from a single computer, making it ideal for large-scale automated processes. For stand-alone operation, users can pre-program dispensing protocols and activate them through a foot switch, push button, or external I/O controller. By adding the OEM Starter Kit, the pump can function as a fully operational stand-alone dispensing system. Custom mechanical and firmware modifications are also available to meet specialized application requirements. For demanding applications where excessive force may be encountered, the BS-501 model offers motor stall detection for added protection and reliability.
