The flexible probe is inserted into the animal, and the micro-USB plug connects to the MARTA Pad for closed-loop temperature control. It is fully sterilizable. However, it is not necessary for ideal heating, as the MARTA Pad alone can effectively regulate temperature to ensure animal comfort and well being.
