The Modified Mouse Pie Cage is designed to accommodate aerosol delivery directly within the enclosure. Aerosol is introduced into the Pie through tubing connected to the central core. The core features an open top and a solid bottom, allowing aerosol to flow into the distribution chamber while preventing downward escape. The Pie rotates to provide easy access for placing mice into individual compartments. Aerosol is distributed evenly to each section through five 3 mm delivery holes located around the central core. After circulating through each compartment, the aerosol exits through a single 3 mm exhaust hole positioned at the center of the outer edge of each Pie section, helping ensure consistent exposure across all compartments.
The Modified Pie Cage has a 9" diameter and is 4" tall in height (height includes the central core connection).
