Micro-Syringe Adapter
 |
The Micro-Syringe Adapter is designed to be
used in a Braintree Syringe pump when using syringes of 5 ml or
smaller. |
|
|
Six hold down clips are provided, but all of
them are not necessary for proper operation. The clips that are
on the hub side of the adapter use flat head screws. The clips
on the Luer side use pan head screws. These Luer clips can be
reversed, if the adapter is to be locked into position. |
|
|
If two micro-syringes are to be used, it is
better to have the clips in the direction as shipped. This will
allow the first syringe to be inserted in the large syringe
clamp, and then the adapter can slide over it. The second
syringe can be installed in the upper slot. |
|
|
Two small plastic screws can be adjusted so
that the lower syringe can be secured. Caution is advised that
one does not over-tighten the screws as the syringe may crush or
distort.
