SMARTBOX™ Lab Control Unit
Automates on/off gas flow at the push of a button

The SMARTBOX Lab Control Unit operates at a fixed flow rate based on the external CO₂source. The Controller automates on/off gas flow at the push of a button, delivering CO₂ to individual cages or to the specially designed CM Chamber. The EA-34000 has a selector switch that offers four timing presets. The EA-31000 utilizes a single time preset. Presets are programmable. This economical unit is designed for small scale use by individual investigators in their laboratories.

Lab Control Unit features:

	Automatically shuts off the gas after the euthanasia cycle is complete
	Treats animals at individual cage level, utilizing the full range of Euthanex cage lids
	Minimizes operator error and excessive gas use.
	·Automatic shut-off saves gas and protects personnel.

Euthanex Lids

The Euthanex Lid system is the industry standard for single cage euthanasia. The system works by placing the Euthanex Lid on the animal's home cage and connecting to the gas output from the SMARTBOX - Lab Control Unit. A wide range of Euthanex Lid sizes can accommodate virtually all plastic cages designed for small animals.

Euthanex Gasket Kit

The gaskets seal and reduce noise levels when putting lid on cage. Gaskets are easy to remove and replace. Includes five replacement gaskets and adhesive strips for mounting.
