MRI Compatible Sensor

STARR Life Sciences has recently introduced the Small Bore MRI Sensor, which plugs directly into the MouseOx® and functions without any special equipment or software.  The Small Bore MRI Sensor can be used in any small bore MRI environment.  The sensor itself is 20 feet in length so that the MouseOx® and computer can be located a safe distance from the MRI device.  The end of the sensor contains a 5 foot non-magnetic portion that can be located inside any small bore MRI machine and can be used during imaging without affecting the quality of the images.  The sensor clips to the animal in exactly the same manner as one would use a standard MouseOx® sensor clip.

STARR-Link™ Analog Output Module

Output your beat-by-beat MouseOx® data in analog form to another recording system.  The STARR-Link™ analog output module provides real-time analog voltage outputs of your MouseOx® data.  The STARR-Link™ transmits all MouseOx® data at 15 Hz, using a 0-5 VDC scale.  It connects easily to the computer with a USB cable.  It has no external power supply and is automatically recognized by the MouseOx® software, and so no additional software is needed.

Oxydial™ 0% to 100% Blender

The OxyDial™ is a product that allows you to quickly and easily dial oxygen fraction (FIO2) in O2/N2 gas mixtures between 0 and 100%.  Using universal fittings, the system connects to centralized supplies bottles or wall outlets) of oxygen and nitrogen. The user simply turns a dial to set the oxygen percentage, and can adjust the outlet flow rate to obtain a constant stream of gas at the desired FIO2 and flow rate.  The system is purely mechanical and uses no electrical power.  All hoses and fittings to connect from the bottled gas source to the OxyDial™ system are provided.
