Doppler
is the most reliable
blood pressure modality for animals weight less than 15 lbs.
A cost effective tool in the exam room where it is useful in screening
for primary hypertension and as an aid in diagnosing diseases when
hypertension is a symptom. The Vet-Dop may also be used to monitor the
rate and rhythm of the peripheral pulse during surgery. The small probe
can be held in place by hand or attached with one of the Velcro straps
provided. |
